Mission of the Colorado Shakespeare Festival Guild

The Colorado Shakespeare Festival Guild is a not-for-profit membership organization providing opportunities for volunteers to make contributions of time, energy, and talents to support the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. In addition, the Guild endeavors to raise funds to support the Festival.

Guild volunteers get to know the Colorado Shakespeare Festival behind the scenes by ushering, working in costume, crafts, lighting, and production shops, and promoting the Festival in the community. These are just a few of the exciting volunteer activities available.

As a Guild volunteer, you also have the opportunity to learn marketable skills, explore new areas of interest, meet stimulating people, serve Colorado's cultural community, and attend volunteer social and educational events.

CSF Guild Committees

OUTREACH volunteers develop and manage programs that provide direct logistical support to CSF staff and production company members, as well as public education and community outreach programs in the schools and in the community at large. This committe truly brings the Guilds mission to life.

MEMBERSHIP volunteers develop and manage programs and benefits that recruit and retain Guild members and volunteers. Volunteers of this committee host the Annual Tea and other membership and volunteer special events.
PROMOTIONS volunteers develop and manage public relations and marketing programs promoting the Guild's mission, programs, and special events.

DEVELOPMENT volunteers organize and manage Guild financial development programs such as the raffle and other fundraising events.

FINANCE volunteers develop and manage programs ensuring the sound management of the Guild's financial resources.
