Volunteering
The Colorado Shakespeare Festival Guild is an independent, not-for-profit, community organization established for charitable, educational, and literary purposes including the encouragement and support of public awareness and appreciation for Shakespeare's works.
Its goals include, but are not limited to, promoting a life-long learning about Shakespeare, his culture, and his theatrical works through support of the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, as well as public education and community outreach programs in the schools and in the community at large.
As such, the Guild is a source of volunteers and funds for both Festival and Guild activities. It is the Festival's primary source for recruiting volunteers and managing volunteer programs for projects in support of the Festival and Education Outreach activities. The CSF Guild provides for a variety of volunteer opportunities, including the following:
- Ushering
- Guild Gift Shop
- Shakespeare Gardens
- Publicity and Promotions
- Transportation Provider
- Office Assistant
You may volunteer without joining the Guild, but membership is highly recommended for its great benefits. Membership is one of the best ways to support the Festival and to join the theatre-loving community. For more information about joining the Guild, go to the Membership page.
